Pseudomonas oder Pseudomonaden sind aerobe Bakterien.

Pseudomonas syringae (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pseudomonas_syringae) verursachen als Krankheitserreger Baumkrebs, Welke, Gummose (https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gummifluss) oder Flecken, z.B. bei Steinobst (Aprikosen, Pfirsich), Ahorne, Kiwis, Rosskastanie, Rüben, Weizen, Kartoffeln, Rispenhirsen, Holzapfel, Bohnen, Erbsen, Flieder, Tabak, Tomaten (vgl. nitratreduzierende Arten (Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Pseudomonas stutzeri und Pseudomonas denitrificans) können Abfall behandeln und Nitrat eliminieren
