Die Mäuse-Gerste (Hordeum murinum L.) ist eine Gersten-Art und gehört zur Familie der Süßgräser (Poaceae).
Die Mäuse-Gerste ist ein bis zu 50 cm hohes Gras. Es besiedelt Schuttplätze und Ödland, Mauerritzen und Wegränder. In Mitteleuropa kommt es nur in warmen, tiefen Lagen vor. Die Art stammt ursprünglich aus dem Mittelmeergebiet und Kleinasien, wurde weltweit aber in diversen Ländern eingeschleppt und gilt dort als Unkraut, zum Beispiel in den USA oder in Chile (vgl.
